Meet Author & Illustrator Maci Welch
Maci Welch is an author, illustrator, and lover of all things creative. She has writen two books: Maggie Morris, a novel based on her early childhood friendships and experiences, and the forthcoming The Grumble Bear, inspired by her two daughters.
She is a passionate advocate for using art to improve mental health in folks of all ages. She resides in Wyoming with her husband, two daughters, and black Lab, Archer Boy.

Work in progress! Still have several hours to go, but wanted to give y’all a peek. I decided to approach this piece like a video game. I want to create a piece that feels like the type of immersive puzzle games I love to watch and play. Moody, mysterious, dream like-I want that for this piece.
I’m so thrilled with the progress so far and the opportunity to try out some new techniques and skills! This one is going to be awesome!!
