This past weekend I took a mom day! I took a mom day and drove down to Denver for an audition. I haven’t auditioned for anything in two years and frankly wondered if I had forgotten how.

The experience was one of the most gratifying things I have done in years. As a parent it is challenging to not set aside all the things that once made you -“you.” I implore you to set aside time for yourself. It’s important for your kids to see you dreaming. They need to know they should never give up!

And for anyone curious-it payed off! I have been cast in the 2023 Listen to Your Mother show at the Boulder theater on May 13th.
